SIobhan is one of Vancouver’s most versatile and authentic vocalists, working professionally in the music industry for 15 years.
Raised in Victoria, BC, she grew up heavily immersed in the arts scene and was inspired to create music at a young age. Growing up in a musical family, she began her career at the age of 8, performing lead roles and singing in musical theatre productions. At 15 she was drawn to Soul, Gospel and R&B music, performing in choirs and school R&B bands.
In 2006/07, Siobhan studied at Vancouver Island University as a vocalist in the Jazz Diploma Program. Fast forward to 2014, she moved to Vancouver and quickly integrated into the local music scene with her own sound.
Siobhan currently leads her own Soul/R&B/Pop band, under her stage name "Siobhan" in addition to a “Tribute To Aretha Franklin”. She was formerly in the Universal Gospel Choir as a lead soloist, performing at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and the Orpheum Theatre.
She has lent her vocals to many recording projects, as well as sung background vocals for Paul Shaffer & Valerie Simpson (Ashford & Simpson), Khari McClelland, Maya Rae, Side One, Groove & Tonic, InFamous Players and many more.
Siobhan is preparing to release her first EP in 2022. She also began vocal coaching in 2020, recognizing the need and her desire to help singers connect to their authentic voice and find their true power.
“Soulful, smooth, authentic and effortless, Siobhan Walsh invites her listeners to lean in as she commands the space with her vocal prowess and power.”
